Territory Sales Representative

High Tide Inc. is looking for a Territory Sales Representative for the Province of Saskatchewan. Our organization is fast paced, growing, and highly successful in the cannabis retail space. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving wholesale business from dispensaries throughout the Province through our wholly owned subsidiary Valiant Distribution based in Regina, SK.

You are passionate and driven to meet and exceed personal sales objectives by pursuing resellers and developing a network of industry contacts to generate sales.

You will establish strategic relationships and have a vision for developing a committed customer, anticipating customer needs and requirements ensuring that they are met every step of the way from sale to execution. The role will be expected to deliver profitable growth in the form of new customers and new opportunities.

Key Accountabilities/Duties:

  • This position is focused on selling a large catalog of LP cannabis products (smokables, consumables, topicals, accessories) in a distributor role to 100+ dispensaries throughout Saskatchewan.
  • Generate sales through direct outreach via all mediums (in-person, email, telephone etc.). This position will involve a combination of time spent in office (home office, and Regina office) and in-market across the province.
  • Ideate and execute promotional campaigns to drive adoption of our catalog.
  • Actively manage your accounts and improve growth sales pipeline.
  • Organize and utilize CRM and report management to showcase your continued results.
  • Qualify new business prospects and build an active, high potential prospect list.
  • Solicit and forward account onboarding, sales agreements, and order forms for processing.
  • Enforce the company policy of cash in advance and assist in the collection of legacy A/R.
  • Maintain a high level of service to existing customers; managing the customer relationship from contract execution through delivery to after sales service; and soliciting referrals from customers.
  • Achieve quarterly sales quotas.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications/Must Have:

  • Working knowledge of Canadian cannabis market, and current cannabis strains, products, and accessories.
  • Direct selling experience in Saskatchewan cannabis market/territory, preferably in wholesale sales.
  • CannSell certification, or ability to pass a CannSell certification.
  • Ability to bring and leverage existing dispensary relationships in the Saskatchewan market.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient at curating cannabis products for customers using a consultative selling framework. 
  • Proficient use of a CRM system to show pipeline growth and accuracy in forecasting information.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, build, execute new customers in assigned province/region-Saskatchewan.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and act accordingly to minimize impact through strong customer management.
  • Successful track-record of exceeding goals and quota.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic approach to new & existing customers and opportunities through opportunity planning.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting salary of $60,000 - $70,000/year based on years of experience.
  • Commission incentive plan, with unlimited earnings potential.
  • Reimbursement of travel and accommodations expenses while in market.
